Lukas Kochansky
Lukas Kochansky is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who spreads the joy and energy of music with every performance, record, or jam. As a soulful and intricate guitarist, classically trained vocalist, and versatile bassist, his music combines a variety of different styles including rock, soul, folk, funk, and jazz. Lukas has performed in festivals and community events throughout the Philadelphia area, where he is native to, and he has taken his music to cities such as Washington DC, Boston, and even Rome.
Featuring powerful vocals and expressive guitar solos, Lukas loops a variety of instruments and sounds (including bass, percussion, and brass) to create a full band sound when performing his originals and unique renditions of covers. He regularly performs anything from Stevie Wonder to flamenco music to classical opera.
Lukas has received formal musical instruction for over a decade and is continuing his musical education at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
